The Windows 10 update scheduled for Tuesday — October 9, 2018 has been put on hold after users reported that the Windows 10 v1809 had deleted files on their computers.

The oldest current version of Windows 10 is version 1703. This does not mean Windows 10 will be ending anytime soon. The way Microsoft now verifies which update was the latest installed is with a version number.

2016-17 Directory Cover Contest Winner Announced

Shelbe Seay is the winner of the CC Communications Annual Directory Photo Contest. Her winning photograph, "Pray For Snow", will be featured on the front cover of the company's 2016-2017 Telephone Directory, which is distributed in July.

 The CC Communications Directory Cover Contest gives residents of Churchill County the chance to contribute to the development of the telephone directory and showcases local talent. Entry fees for the contest are donated by CC Communications to a charitable community service organization in Churchill County.
